Unreliable RAM can cause a wide range of problems: data corruption, system crashes, and unexplained behavior. The worst part? Faulty RAM is often hard to detect. Instead, you might mistakenly blame other components of your build.
Bad RAM is one of the most frustrating computer issues because the symptoms are random and difficult to diagnose. CPUs, chipsets, drivers, operating systems, and BIOS versions all vary and can introduce their own challenges. That is why we test all RAM modules using both AMD and Intel CPUs, and with a variety of vendor platforms.
How Does Exceleram Test Its RAM?
We include a range of both free and paid testing software and follow several testing procedures. While this process can be time-intensive, our experience has shown that relying on a single tool is never enough. Almost every week, we come across modules that pass 9 out of 10 tests – but even a single failure is reason enough for us not to sell them.
Our team includes several RAM veterans with decades of experience in building and testing memory. This expertise allows us to guarantee excellent overclocking potential and high compatibility with all major vendors.
We also offer tailored testing solutions. For select customers, we provide custom default settings for their memory modules. These clients not only receive branded RAM but also benefit from testing on the hardware setup of their choice – with configurations optimized beyond factory defaults.
